Web Design

There are two different ways to pursue web design. One is to pay someone to do it and the other is to learn it for yourself. With the help of Google Blogger or Wordpress, it is easy to teach yourself to the basics of web design. It is also easy to maintain your website once it had been created instead of paying someone more money every time you want to add an article or make a change.

The Internet

The Internet is not as difficult as people might think. As far as designing websites and web pages,  it is only as complicated as you want to make it. If you are an expert in writing computer code and treat terms like HTML5 and CSS like they are the beginning of your alphabet, there are plenty of ways for you to challenge yourself to make beautiful webpages.

I am much more focused on the novice. The individual with little if any computer skills who has a story to tell and a mission to accomplish. I have discovered that there are ways for that person to create webpages that are attractive and efficient. None of us has to have reams of knowledge. We just need the desire, the subject and the time to learn. There are several vehicles available for little if any cost. We just have to supply the content and inspiration to fill those vehicles.

Mickey Mantle

I am just trying to show how you can easily link to an article that lives somewhere else on the intenet. In this case I googled Mickey Mantle and found this article in the Huffington Post about autographs. So you can click on the word "article" or on the link below.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-miraldi/what-is-mickey-mantles-signature_b_4767273.html

I prefer to put the link right on the word instead of having it visiobe. Looks much better that way.

Here is the article on the Mick.
